I created these 7 Days of Embodied Self Care & Wellbeing practices to support you to nourish yourself, to create a refuge in your own home, a sanctuary of peace – like your own mini spa retreat at home.

These practices are an opportunity to fill your own cup, to nourish yourself and your own wellbeing and to put yourself at the top of your priority list. Self-care is community care. If you look after yourself, you are in a better position to look after others without running your cup dry.

These Self Care & Wellbeing Practices are free and brief enough to fit into your day. They range from 5-35 minutes. Self-care is like meditation - better to do a little every day rather than one larger practice a week.

And I wanted these practices to be embodied, which simply means they are somatic based or using the body as a doorway into self-care and wellbeing.

The practices are slow, mindful and aimed at increasing interoception - the felt internal state of the body. When we practice interoceptive awareness (eg asking what do I feel when I move this way? or when I take a breath like this?) we get to develop a greater sense of self.

Seven practices over seven days - including gentle movement, yoga nidra meditation, a personalised loving kindness meditation, a somatics practice in the style of Thomas Hanna and embodied resourcing practices.

No experience in yoga or meditation is necessary, just a curiosity and openness.

The access to these practices is open with no end date, so you can return to those you really enjoyed and benefited from and don’t need to feel pressured timewise. That’s why you’re doing it right?

To find that spaciousness no matter what is going on around you.
